The following years
saw modifications to bore size and output. The 180Dc was fitted with version
IV and boasted 48 HP at 3,800 rpm and a cubic capacity of 1988cm3.
This was followed by the 190Dc in 1961 with the engine providing 55 HP at
4,300 rpm. 1965 saw the birth of
the 200D with version VIII of the engine which now incorporated a 5 bearing
crankshaft to reduce engine vibration and noise. 55 HP was achieved at 4,200
rpm. As the forefather of
the OM615, the OM621 was also fitted to the Unimog 421 until replaced in 1968
to coincide with the introduction of the 200D/8 and 220D/8 sedans. We will be pleased to
quote for your requirements including delivery to your door. |
